Coaching strips away self-limiting beliefs and reveals the true potential of individuals and teams.

Intervals on the MTB -- always tough! If you're away from home and nearing a big event, dialing in your workouts and keeping your Training Stress Balance (TSB) in check becomes a delicate juggle. There is a lot that can go wrong, and usually the result is that you carry too much fatigue into the event.
This is why working with a coach and executing tailored structured training is so valuable. I'm in that boat this week. The weather is great, I love riding in Montana, and at the same time, I've learned the hard way that I need to FTFP (follow the "friggin" plan). πŸ˜…

Final Seven (Masters 60+): Ramp up for Saturday Marathon MTB Race (7wk)(4days/wk) 07/27/2026

Necessity is the mother of invention! My current training plans required some additional adaptation for one of the primary athletes that is now 60+ years old -- me! AND I KNOW, because I see you out there, MANY OTHERS require a similarly adapted training plan that meets the specific training and recovery sequencing that results in the adaptations we're looking for.
So, I'm rolling out a new product line of training plans for 60+ athletes, starting with this one that is the final seven weeks in preparation for a MTB marathon. This will be my playbook as I get myself ready for the Ring of Fire in Bend, OR, on Sep 26th.
Do you have a similar need? Share it below or shoot me a PM and we can make it a reality. Any other Qs? Fire away! πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ’₯

2x12 Over-Unders in the Pain Cave! First Over-Unders of the season. As we transition from Base to our first Build block we want to work on processing and clearing lactate. As important, we build that necessary mental toughness, becoming more and more comfortable with being uncomfortable.
And yes, we do them in erg mode to ensure we get them just right. Let's go! πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ’₯

BIG NEWS!
While relocating from Virginia to Seattle, Washington, we temporarily closed our coaching business. During this downtime, I dedicated myself to professional growth by completing several USA Cycling and Training Peaks University courses, including certifications (or re-certifications) in Goal Setting, Training Peaks Essentials, Strength & Conditioning, SafeSport, and Coaching Masters Athletes.
Now, I’m excited to announce that we’ve reopened as a Washington LLC under the same name, headquartered in Seattle, available to you remotely, and fully back in action!
With coaching now as my main priority, I am able to dedicate even more time and personalized attention to helping each client achieve their goals. This renewed focus means every athlete gets the customized support and guidance they need to succeed.
In our coaching journey together, we envision your desired outcome, plan a clear path to get there, prepare with the necessary skills and tools, and execute the plan while staying flexible and resilient when challenges arise. You’ve got what it takes! I’m here to help every step of the way.

Envision – Plan – Prepare – Execute!
