The Baileyton Good Time Dragstrip, the oldest drag strip in the state still running, is up for sale by owner. And to be clear, the track is not closing. It will keep operating at full capacity until it sells.

This is a rare shot at an established, turnkey operation. It sits on 18 acres and includes an eighth mile concrete racing surface, a burnout box, concrete safety barriers, asphalted pits, a new timing system with LED scoreboards, a 1,200 foot shutdown area, and a two story tower added in 2024. Restrooms and concessions are already in place. It is ready to run from day one.

Owner Russ says the reason for selling is simple. He is focusing on growing a new business venture.

Asking price is $1.4 million, and he says it is very negotiable for a qualified buyer. He will consider partial trades, and owner financing may be available.

He is also offering a finder’s fee to anyone who brings him a buyer that closes.
