Just booked another winter camp and my first 2027 camp…
I’ll be in Arlington, TX on January 9th & 10th!
We always have a good time in Texas and I’m excited to get back down there.

I just booked another camp! This will be my first ever winter camp in the Pacific Northwest! I’ve come up several times in the summer but this will be the first off-season event.
If you’re going to be around the weekend after Thanksgiving and want to get you or your catcher some work in grab a spot now!

November 28-29, 2026 at the Field of Champions training center in Issaquah!

This meme is pretty damn accurate. 😂
I’ve seen it before and it always gets me thinking… There’s nothing wrong with playing travel ball. Games matter. Competition matters.
But playing more games isn’t the same as developing your game.
I hear about catchers playing in tournament after tournament with the same issues behind the plate because nobody is actually taking the time between games to work with them.
Receiving. Blocking. Throwing. Footwork. Understanding the game.
Those things don’t magically get better because you added another 40 games to the tourney schedule.
You wouldn’t believe the number of messages I’ve received over the years saying “Sorry, we have a tournament and can’t make it.” Or “We’re signed up for your camp but have to cancel because our team scheduled a last minute tourney.”
You can play in the games. But you also need to train the position. If you don’t, those tourneys may not go as well as you’d like.
Want to train with me privately, shoot me a message.

Epic weekend on the central coast!
Thanks to Slo Swing for hosting and to Elliot Stewart and Jackson Gomes for their help!
Got to work with some great catchers, some great coaches and in a beautiful facility for the weekend! If you’re on the central coast and you’re looking for a place to train you have got to check out Slo Swing!
Also got to visit some of my favorite spots and eat some of my favorite food! And by the way, thank you to whoever anonymously dropped off some Santa Maria seasoning & beans from Suzie Q’s (last pic)!
My next camp is in Sacramento, CA near the end of September. If you’d like more details put “SacTown” in the comments and I’ll get you what you need.

As funny as this is, there’s some truth to it too.
Whether it’s during the inning or between innings some pitchers like a little reassurance that things are going good.
Of course you don’t want to mess up any rhythm they have but if the timing is right, you can always make a mound visit and let them know how well they’re doing too.
