🥋Meet Mr. Jason — Beginner Kids Instructor!

We’re excited to share that Mr. Jason will be stepping into an expanded leadership role with our Beginner Kids program!

Jason is a second-degree black belt who has trained at Freestyle from the very beginning and has been personally developed as an instructor under Miss Jordyn. He is an incredible martial artist whose skill, work ethic, and positive attitude have made him someone both younger and older students look up to.

Outside of Freestyle, Jason is also a dedicated student at the Davidson Academy and is involved in several clubs and activities. He brings intelligence, enthusiasm, and a smile that makes every class more fun.

🐉 Meet Miss Rita — Lil’ Dragons Instructor!

We’re excited to share that Miss Rita will be stepping into an expanded leadership role with our Lil’ Dragons program!

A second-degree black belt, Rita has trained at Freestyle from the very beginning and has been personally developed as an instructor under Miss Jordyn. She is one of the kindest and most engaging teachers on our team, and she truly loves working with our youngest kiddos.

Rita brings patience, energy, and a genuine commitment to helping every student feel confident and successful. She is dedicated to both her own training and her growth as an instructor, and we’re so excited to see everything she brings to the Lil’ Dragons program.

Tonight, Miss Jordyn led her final Lil’ Dragons belt test at Freestyle, and we could not have imagined a more fitting way to celebrate her.

For years, she has helped our students grow in confidence, skill, and character while also shaping the instructors who will continue her work. Her impact on our school will be felt for a very long time.

Thank you, Miss Jordyn, for the excellence, heart, and leadership you brought to everything you did. We are so proud of you and so excited to see what comes next. ❤️

🌟Celebrating Miss Jordyn! 🌟

After years of helping our students and instructors grow, Miss Jordyn McClain is beginning an exciting new chapter!

Jordyn recently graduated from college and will be joining the Washoe County School District’s Department of Talent Development. We could not be prouder of her as she takes everything she has learned, her leadership, dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence, and uses it to make an even greater difference in our community.

Miss Jordyn has had an incredible impact on Freestyle. She has taught and encouraged hundreds of kiddos, helped train many of our instructors, and brought excellence to everything she has done. The lessons she has shared and the example she has set will continue through the instructors she has helped develop.

Her last day will be Friday, August 7, when she leads the Lil’ Dragons belt test, such a fitting way to finish an amazing chapter at Freestyle.

Please help us congratulate Miss Jordyn and thank her for everything she has given our students, families, and team. We love you, Miss Jordyn, and we cannot wait to see what you accomplish next! ❤️
