Update from Chapitos Boxing Gym
Due to the Hawk Fire and ongoing road closures, there will be no class today. We evacuated Saturday night and, unfortunately, have not yet been able to return home due to the closures.
During this difficult time, we have also opened the gym doors to provide a safe place for a family in need. We’re grateful to be able to support our community however we can.
We hope everyone is staying safe and following all evacuation orders and local updates. ❤️
We will provide an update regarding tomorrow’s classes as soon as we know more.

Oscar is opening up his time for drop-in classes at Chapitos Boxing Gym for anyone looking to get some extra work in.
All skill levels are welcome. Whether you’re looking to improve your footwork, sharpen your technique, build strength, or simply get more rounds and training in, this is a great opportunity to come in and work.
MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS are welcome!! Drop-in fees apply.
Fridays: 4–6 PM
Saturdays: 9–11 AM

This isn't anything new—it happens more often than we think. As a boxing coach, I've learned that people are quick to talk about the bad, but rarely mention the good. They don't see the early mornings or late nights, the sacrifices, the time invested, the time away from your own family or the lives you're trying to change. One mistake can overshadow years of doing the right thing in their eyes.
But you don't stop doing good because it's overlooked. You keep showing up, keep leading, and keep making a difference. Those who truly matter will always see your good heart and the great person you truly are not the rumors! 💯
