Meet Stephen, General Manager at Modern Turf. 👋

A graduate of Horry-Georgetown Technical College’s Golf Course Management program, Stephen has built his career around agronomy, turf management, and a genuine passion for the outdoors. His experience spans golf courses across Florida and North Carolina, where he worked his way from groundskeeper to superintendent.

Today, Stephen helps lead Modern Turf’s agronomic program and daily farm operations, applying his knowledge of plant health, soil science, business management, and environmental stewardship to the turf we grow every day.

His focus is simple: produce exceptional turf responsibly and give our customers a product built to perform.
