All levels welcome! I’m Ryan. I’m a So Cal native, a travel hidden gem adventurer, and passionate about fitness. I have been a Trainer in the South Bay for nearly 20 years. My girlfriend and I have four kids, two boys and two girls, whom we love so much. Before I took fitness seriously. The scale went up, and I didn’t see results. Some days were rough – sometimes, I felt like I wasn’t making any progress. But I kept getting after it, stayed consistent, and I got there! And you can too! It didn’t happen overnight, and it wasn’t a quick fix. But, it was small changes here and there to get long-term results without forsaking anything I love. I admit it wasn’t easy to exercise constantly, but I did it because I knew it was good for me and gave me more energy to do the things I am passionate about. And now, I continue to exercise because it gives me strength and the spark to be a better person. This is one of the reasons I do Training: I want to help change people’s lives through fitness. I was able to change my own, and I would love to help you change yours. Whether your goals are to fit comfortably into your clothes, get stronger, lose weight, get a flat stomach, have more energy to take on the day, tone up, feel empowered, and more, I want to help YOU get there! What’s Your Goal?

Here’s a simple 5-minute habit that can help keep you on track during the week.

Every Sunday, open your calendar and schedule three things:
📅 Your workouts
🍽️ Your meals
😴 Your bedtime

Then use it as your guide for the week.

What gets scheduled is much more likely to get done.
What doesn’t get scheduled can easily get pushed aside.

Try it this Sunday. Open your calendar, add your workouts, meals, and bedtime, and see if it helps you stay more consistent.

Save this as your Sunday reminder and tag a friend who needs to try this too! 📅

Walk-Away Chicken…

Do I have your attention yet!? :-)

You don’t have to babysit the chicken while it’s cooking… and it comes out juicy and succulent!

🧑🍳Walk-Away Chicken
(Serves 2)

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz/170 g each)
- 1 tsp olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste

Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness, about ½- to ¾-inch (1.25- to 2-cm) thick.
Season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil or butter and swirl to coat.

Lower heat to medium and add chicken. Cook undisturbed for 1 minute. Flip, reduce heat to low, and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Set a timer for 10 minutes. Do not lift the lid!

After 10 minutes, turn off the heat. Leave covered for another 10 minutes. Check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F/74ºC. Rest 2 to 3 minutes, then slice.

Flavor tip: Finish with lemon juice, fresh herbs, or your favorite sauce after cooking.

I can always tell it's September when routines start to shift.

Schedules change, the season changes, and sometimes it’s a good reminder to change things up a little too.

That could mean trying a new workout, adding more movement to your day, changing up your meals, or simply finding a new way to make fitness feel fun again.

You don’t always need a complete overhaul.

Sometimes a small change is enough to help you feel more motivated and consistent.

What’s one thing you’re changing up this fall?

Drop it in the comments or shoot me a DM! I love hearing what you’re up to. 👇

If you've ever gone down a rabbit hole trying to figure out the “best” way to lose weight and get healthier... you are not alone.

One expert says cut carbs... another says carbs are fine, cut fat... And then someone ELSE says it’s all about some brand-new trend.

(Don't even get me started on what's trending on social media this week.)
No wonder so many people feel paralyzed.

Here’s what more than 20 years of coaching has taught me:

The basics get the job done.
✅ Eat enough protein
✅ Resistance training
✅ Make sleep a priority
✅ Manage your stress

When in doubt, go back to basics. They will never let you down.

That’s exactly what my 21-Day Kickstart Program is built around: the fundamentals, applied in a way that works for your life and your goals, with a healthy dose of support and accountability.

If you want to get stronger, feel better, and build a routine you can actually stick with, this is a great place to start.

Curious? DM me READY and I’ll tell you more.

Twenty-five years ago today, the world changed.

Today we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, survivors, and the families who carry that day with them always.

We will never forget.

Most of the calories you burn every day don’t come from your workout alone.

Researchers call the movement you do outside of structured exercise NEAT: non-exercise activity thermogenesis.

That includes things like walking, taking the stairs, cleaning, running errands, standing, and simply moving more throughout the day.

NEAT can vary a lot from person to person, and that can be one reason why two people following similar plans may still get different results.

The goal: start looking for more opportunities to move throughout your day.
✅ Take the stairs
✅ Add a daily walk
✅ Stand or pace during phone calls
✅ Get up and move every hour
✅ Find an active hobby instead of sitting for long periods

And it’s not just about weight loss.

More daily movement can support better blood sugar regulation, cardiovascular health, mood, energy, and overall fitness.

Nutshell: your workouts matter, but so does what you do the rest of the day.

If your workouts have started feeling complicated... simplify them.

These 5 movement patterns cover the foundation of strength training:

✅ Squat
✅ Hinge
✅ Lunge
✅ Push
✅ Pull

They're the same movements you use every day—getting up from a chair, picking something up, climbing stairs, pushing a door open, or pulling something toward you.

The stronger you become at these, the easier everyday movement can feel.

Save this for your next workout, and follow me for more simple, science-backed strategies for people committed to staying strong.
