Today we celebrate Nora nora raleigh for completing 600 classes at Yoga Station in just under three years. 🤍
A special story about Nora: (please read while I cry!)
Nora found Yoga Station from a flyer I had hung on the Caraluzzi’s bulletin board during the first few weeks we were open in our old space on Old Mill Road.
I will never forget our first interaction and her gentle skepticism about what exactly we were all about. 😂 I think about that interaction often because we have all experienced that feeling of stepping into a new place and wondering, Will I feel welcome here?
In those early days, Nora was often one of the only people in class. Sometimes it was just her and I. But she kept coming back.
I may have been offering her a service, but little did she know she was the one offering me the courage to keep going. She would remind me that things take time to build. That just because the room wasn’t full yet didn’t mean we didn’t have something special to offer.
When we didn’t have a studio space to move to, she suggested the building we are in today! Because of her, we discovered our now yoga home. (Which I might add is conveniently walking distance from her house 🤪.)
Outside of yoga Nora is an incredible writer and highly acredited published author who shares her gifts by teaching writing classes and hebrew school to youth.
Nora, we are so grateful you saw our flyer that day. We are so proud to be a part of your life and you a part of ours!
Please congratulate Nora when you see her around the studio!
We love you, Nora. 🤍
