Cedar Rock Farm LLC Cedar Rock Farm LLC is a small family-run farm where we raise cows, chickens, pigs and care for a few horses that we enjoy. We do sell pigs and farm fresh eggs.

Our goal is to become more self-sufficient, and fully enjoy the beauty of farm life.

🤦‍♀️ Mishap #68 The Block vs The Mower

Well, I was doing pretty good there for a minute! 😂

After moving the cows out, I figured I’d take advantage of the empty back pasture and knock down some grass. Everything was going smooth… until apparently a block decided it wanted to become part of the mower. 🪨😂

Somehow that sneaky thing managed to wedge itself between the blade and the top of the mower deck, bringing the whole operation to a screeching halt.🚫

You just never know what kind of surprises are hiding in the grass around here. One minute you’re mowing… the next minute you’re having a personal disagreement with a block. 🤠

Rock won this round. 😩😂

Sometimes the best part of farm life is moving the cattle to greener pastures. 🐄🌱

Fresh grass, open space, happy cows… just another day. There’s something about watching them head out to a new pasture that makes all the hard work worth it. ❤️

Keep them fed, keep them watered, and keep moving them toward greener pastures! 🤠🌾

Well, tonight’s egg collection came with a little farm surprise. 😂🐔🥚

I reached into the nesting box to grab the eggs and immediately je**ed my hand back like I’d just been bitten by a snake. 😳

Turns out two of my girls decided they weren’t interested in laying real eggs tonight. Nope… they went with the wind egg or as some call it the rubber egg special. 😂

I’m pretty sure one of them thought, “Why waste all that calcium and shell? Just give ’em something squishy.” 🤣

Needless to say, those two didn’t make it to the kitchen. The pigs heard about the situation and were more than happy to handle the evidence. 🐷😂

Only on the farm… you never quite know what you’re gonna find when you reach into a chicken coop! 🌾🐔🥚🐷

We’re mighty proud to officially welcome CT Star Pride Enhance to Cedar Rock Farm LLC ! 🐃🐃

We’re sure looking forward to watching him grow, fill out, and see just what kind of bull he’s going to turn into.✨️

There’s nothing quite like bringing a new bull home and watching him grow right here on the farm. 🤠

Now, every good farm bull needs a good barn name, and we’re still working on finding just the right one for him. We’ll know it when we hear it! 🤔

A big THANK YOU to Circle T Ranch Luraville, Florida for giving us the opportunity to bring this young guy home. We sure appreciate it and are excited about what the future holds.✨️

For now, he’s settling in, learning his new surroundings, and getting used to life here.🌱

Mean Momma is taking her time, so I decided to give this mama-to-be a little pool of water to cool down and relax. 💦🐷

She’s got the shade, the mud, the pool, and plenty of attention from her farm crew. 👩‍🌾

Now we’re just waiting on those little piggy feet to make their grand entrance! 🐖❤️
