🌿 Faith Foundations with Kelly Savage – Bible studies, prayers & resources to help kids, adults & families grow stronger in Christ and build lasting connections in Him. ✨ 👋 Hi, I’m Kelly Savage — life coach, author, blogger, and founder of Faith Foundations with Kelly Savage, His Serving Hands and God's Club 4 Kids Connection Fun Boxes. As a proud grandmother, I have a special heart for reaching children early — working alongside parents and loved ones to help them build strong foundations in faith and life. Through my resources and programs, I aim to equip kids, adults, and families to grow deeper in Christ and stronger together. With studies in personality, communications, and leadership — plus years of management and coaching experience — I bring a wide range of tools to support spiritual and personal growth. I’ve trained through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and am certified in the Wisdom Coaching Program, designed specifically for the challenges kids face today. Here you’ll find resources like the Butterfly Thoughts with Kelly Savage podcast, my book *Always Ask...What If?, and programs such as God’s Club 4 Kids Fun Kits and family Bible studies — all created to inspire growth, faith, and connection.

🌿 Whether you’re here for encouragement, practical tools, or to help your family grow in God’s Word, I’m excited to walk this journey of faith with you. Together, let’s build strong faith foundations that last for generations.

Do not let sin have the final word over your life or your identity. Repentance should be a daily choice. Sometimes the very things we continue to entertain are the things keeping us from walking in obedience to God. We cannot cling to the very sins our Saviour died to redeem us from. Let us put sin to death, turn from what dishonours Christ, and pursue holiness because we belong to Him.

Some of us rely so heavily on our own strength that we forget we were never meant to carry everything alone. Our families, our marriages, our responsibilities, even the pain of other people. We can care deeply without carrying what only God can carry. Give it to Him. Ask Him for the strength, wisdom and grace to walk through what He has placed in front of you.

You can be faithful and still need to rest. You don’t have to exhaust yourself to prove you love God. Jesus rested too. You are not God, and you were never meant to carry everything. Work hard, serve faithfully, pursue holiness, but remember that rest is not failure. Sometimes resting is simply trusting God with what you cannot do. Are you giving yourself permission to rest?

The Golden Rule: The Mirror For The Heart

We've all heard the Golden Rule: "Treat others the way you want to be treated." But what if Jesus intended it to be much more than good manners? What if the Golden Rule is actually a mirror—revealing the condition of our own hearts? In this episode of Butterfly Thoughts, Kelly reflects on grace, assumptions, mercy, difficult conversations, forgiveness, and why the way we treat people often says more about us than it does about them....

If you feel like you’re never doing enough for God, you need to hear this. If your relationship with God constantly feels like trying to earn your place, stop and return to the gospel. Christ did not come so that you could spend your entire Christian life trying to prove yourself worthy of Him. We obey because we belong to Him, and grace should produce gratitude rather than endless striving.

Burnout often happens when we forget the difference between walking with Jesus and trying to earn His approval. The gospel reminds us that Christ has already done what we never could. We obey because we are loved, not to become worthy of His love. If your soul feels tired today, rest in His finished work and keep taking faithful steps forward. How has God reminded you of His grace recently?

Walking by the Spirit is not about chasing extraordinary experiences. It is about faithfully following Christ in the ordinary moments of life. Every choice to obey God's Word, extend grace, resist temptation, and serve others is another step in keeping in step with the Spirit. Where is God inviting you to trust Him more today?

Not every day feels spiritually exciting, and that is okay. Our confidence is not built on emotional highs but on the unchanging promises of God. Keep opening His Word, keep praying, and keep trusting Him even when your feelings are quiet. Faith grows through faithful obedience. Have you ever experienced God strengthening your faith during a quiet season?

It is easy to measure spiritual growth by what we know, but God is also concerned with who we are becoming. As we abide in Christ, the Holy Spirit produces fruit that changes the way we live, love, and serve others. Growth is often slow, but every step of obedience is evidence of His faithful work. Which fruit of the Spirit are you asking God to cultivate in your life right now?
