SELECT FC (Football Club) is a premier soccer organization offering camps, clinics, private lessons, group lessons, and team lessons to all players in Lackawanna, and surrounding counties. Eric Franks (Philadelphia Fury, FC Reading Revolution and Alvernia University) is the club's founder and manager. Some of Eric's most recent, prestigious awards include 2011-2012 Alvernia University Athlete of the Year, 2011 MAC Conference Player of the Year, and 2011 NSCAA 1st Team Regional All-American. Eric is also the current captain of the Philadelphia Fury Semi-Professional Team. Our goals at SELECT FC are to: work on and perfect our player's skill and knowledge of the game, build our player's character, motivation, dedication, and determination skills, prepare them for the challenges that they will encounter in their future soccer careers, and to ultimately have fun playing soccer! We focus on exercising our player's fullest physical potential while also educating them on the importance of individual and team success. Our mission is to work with our players to improve their weaknesses while also promoting their strengths. Our three stripes above our name represent determination, motivation, and dedication, three characteristics that express what SELECT FC is all about.
