🥋 UNIFORM UPDATE! ☀️

With the weather still feeling like summer, we’re giving our students a little extra flexibility!

For the remainder of September, students are welcome to wear an Open Call Martial Arts T-shirt with their uniform (gi) pants during class.

Starting October 1st, we will return to full uniforms for all classes.

Stay cool, keep training hard, and we’ll see everyone on the mats tonight! 👊🥋🔥

Tonight was an extra special class as we proudly awarded our VERY FIRST Way of the Warrior Award to Lauren! 🏆👏

This award recognizes a student who demonstrates dedication, perseverance, respect, and the true spirit of a martial artist. Lauren, we are so proud of you and the example you set for others! Congratulations! 🎉

Class was also packed with important training as we worked on takedowns, defending against bear hugs, and sharpening up our basics. 💪

🥋 Another great week on the mats at Open Call Martial Arts!

We kicked things off Tuesday night with some exciting promotions as two of our White Belts earned their Yellow Belts! 💛 Congratulations on your hard work and dedication—we’re proud of you both!

Thursday night, our students focused on important self-defense skills, strong kicking basics, and fighting techniques, continuing to build confidence both on and off the mats. 👊

Then on Saturday, we worked on falling techniques, practicing how to safely fall both forward and backward. Learning how to protect yourself and fall properly is an important part of martial arts training!

Every class is an opportunity to learn something new, work hard, and grow stronger. 💪🥋

TONIGHT AT OPEN CALL MARTIAL ARTS! 🥋

What a night of hard work, sweat, and progress! 💪🔥

We celebrated a well-deserved belt promotion tonight as one of our students advanced from White Belt to Yellow Belt! 🟡🥋

Congratulations! Your dedication and effort are paying off, and we couldn’t be more proud!

After the promotion, it was time to WORK! 💥

Students put in the rounds with plenty of sparring, boot camp-style exercises, conditioning, and workouts designed to push them both physically and mentally.

This is what martial arts is all about—discipline, perseverance, fitness, and becoming stronger every class.

Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep growing. 🥋🔥
