WIP. I am very happy with this wrought-iron guard on this hunter. The butt cap will be the same material also. The spacer needs to be engraved with the stars and border lines and silver inlay. Then it will be niter blued. A ways to go but finally coming together.

I can't believe that Duke and Coal turned 12 Years Old today! The bond we have is hard to put into words. We had a great hunting season this year including a grouse hunt in Maine. They still run in the field like they are still 5 years old. Right now they can't wait for the pool cover to come off. Next to bird season, pool season is their favorite thing in life.
