WELCOME TO THE KCA INSTRUCTORS TEAM, ALEX NAVA!

We’re fired up to officially welcome Alex Nava to the Kenpo Combat Academy Instructor Team!
Instructor Nava joins KCA as a Level 1 Certified Instructor and will also take on the role of Head Coach of the 🐍 KCA Youth Muay Thai Fight Team!

With over a decade of martial arts experience, Instructor Nava brings a wealth of knowledge, real fight experience, and a passion for developing the next generation of martial artists. His experience includes competing in combat-sports venues such as King of the Cage, and we’re excited for him to bring that experience onto the mats at KCA.

Instructor Nava will be working alongside Instructor Eli and our GO NINJA! Leaders during our 🐍 KCA Youth Muay Thai classes, helping our students sharpen their technique, build confidence, develop discipline, and continue growing as martial artists.

He’ll also be working alongside Sensei Charlie as Head Coach of our 🐍 KCA Youth Muay Thai Fight Team, helping prepare our young athletes for competition and teaching them what it means to train, prepare, and compete with purpose.

This is another big step forward for our 🐍 Youth Muay Thai program and competition team!

WELCOME TO THE KCA INSTRUCTOR TEAM, EDDIE SANCHEZ!

We are incredibly excited and proud to announce that Eddie Sanchez has officially joined the KCA Instructor Team as a Level 1 Certified Instructor!

Instructor Eddie will be joining Sensei Charlie, Instructor Eli, and our 🥷GO NINJA! Leaders in helping lead our 🐲 Little Dragon Jiu-Jitsu Team at 4:15 PM!

What makes this announcement especially meaningful is that Eddie has truly grown up on the mats at KCA.

Eddie began training with Sensei Charlie in 2020 at just 13 years old. Over the years, we have watched him grow from a young martial arts student into a disciplined young man, leader, teammate, and now instructor.

He was also a member of our 🥷 GO NINJA! Leadership Team, where he began developing the leadership skills and confidence that he will now pass on to the next generation of 🐲 Little Dragons.

In October 2025, Eddie earned his Blue Belt, another milestone representing years of dedication, consistency, hard work, and growth.

Outside of the academy, Eddie enjoys fabricating, and working on classic cars with his dad and uncle. Whether he's learning a new skill, working with his hands, helping another student, or training on the mats, Eddie brings the same willingness to learn and improve.

This is exactly what we hope to see from our young students at KCA.

Martial arts is about much more than earning belts. It's about developing young people who are prepared to lead, serve others, take responsibility, and become positive examples for the students coming up behind them.

Instructor Eddie, we are proud of everything you have accomplished so far... but we are even more excited about what comes next.
