Last on our Meet the Crew Fridays, our Grounds Crew/Social Media, Annabel! 💜 Hi, I’m Annabel and I’m behind majority of the social media posting for Casey Tibbs Riders! I’m originally from Ventura County but moved to Ramona about 2 years ago and fell in love with the area. I’ve always had the “horse crazy bug” and knew I wanted to do everything I could with animals since I was little. I currently work for ECLAP as an assistant and I’m working towards my RVT, but I’ve rodeoed, packed, lead trail rides, rode for trainers, and volunteered at other clinics and rescues of all kinds. All that comes with its side effects as all 4 of my animals are rescued or found through jobs! I love riding and enjoying my horse in as many events as I can including these gymkhanas! I hope to see you all at the next gymkhana! 💜🐴

Next up on our Meet the Crew Fridays (slightly delayed🫣), our Grounds Crew Andrew! 💜Andrew is a San Diego native and been in Ramona for quite some time. Although he didn’t quite get the “horse bug” as crazy as some of us, he loves watching his family in equestrian events and doing what they love the most. He’s still outdoors quite often as he is a sheet metal construction worker building the local hospitals! You will also find him out and about fishing and going on as many trips with his family as he can. At our gymkhanas, Andrew is often running around chasing his mini-me’s, making sure they’re having fun on the horse, or setting up courses and making sure the ground is just right. Be sure to say hi to him at the gates, or give him leads as to where his little ones ran 🏇💜

Next up on our Meet the Crew Fridays, our EMS Peter! 💜 Peter grew up in Orange County and would often visit his family’s ranch in rural New Mexico. He moved to Ramona about 2 years ago and currently works as an EMT at Barona! Peter knew he wanted to help people since he was young and has been in EMS for 5+ years doing volunteer work and cadet programs. Although he didn’t grow up rodeo-ing, his “ex bronc” sure shows him what he’s been missing and brought him closer to medic work within equestrian events. You’ll find him riding in our gymkhanas and hanging out at the gate with his gear. Be sure to say hi to Peter and go to him with any medical questions! 💜🐴
