Worlds Recap

This is later than we intended, but it takes a long time to drive over 2,000 miles home and then turn and burn and fly out for a wedding in CO. 😳

Worlds week .. wow, what a week! It was so great to see and spend time with our players that made some or all of the events! For some it wasn’t what they wanted to accomplish, but we proud of all of them regardless. We couldn’t ask for a better group out there representing State 31.

Some noteworthy bits from the week:
ACO Pro Kelsie Turner - 5th in Womens! .. 6th in pro series … and at 8 months preggo!
Wyatt Rosengren - 4th in Doubles! And made top 64 in singles, earning automatic pro status!
Brayden Easterling - 7th in Doubles! top 20 in singles! .. top 20 in pro series!
Darryl Macon - 5th in Senior Doubles!

In a field so deep in talent and nearly 600 singles, 400 doubles teams, and 179 in the pro shootout — sometimes it’s just about making the main bracket! Kudos to Joseph Sorrell, king, Tyler Whitmer, and glenn! The boards were tough going when every section of the building played different! Thank you for showing up and representing the S31 family!

hogan and Malini Heffelfinger/Malibu were there too! I think Kenny just showed up for seniors and then disappeared without a trace. 🤣 Malibu was there with all her glorious energy and lemon drop shots. 🤪

and … while thomas wasn’t officially on the team, he was playing with Jinx bags and made top 20 in singles too!
