She stood there with the quiet confidence of someone who had learned life’s hardest lessons from the ground up.

Not from books.

Not from speeches.

Not from people who promised they understood.

She learned them from horses.

From early mornings when the world was still asleep and the only sound was the gentle rustle of hay. From muddy boots, tired hands, and long days that ended with sore muscles but a full heart. From creatures that never cared about appearances, status, or perfection.

Because horses have a way of seeing the truth.

They do not care how strong you pretend to be.

They know when you are hurting.

They know when your smile is hiding tears.

And somehow, without saying a single word, they remind you that it is okay to keep going.

Looking at this image, I see more than a cowgirl standing among her horses.

I see trust.

I see responsibility.

I see a woman who understands that leadership is not about control. It is about earning respect day after day.

The horses around her are free to walk away.

Yet they stay.

That is the greatest compliment any horse can give.

People often talk about freedom as if it means being alone.

But true freedom is different.

True freedom is finding a place where you belong without being trapped.

A place where you are accepted exactly as you are.

For many of us, that place is not a city, an office, or a crowded room.

It is a pasture.

A barn.

A quiet field beneath an endless sky.

Somewhere between the wind, the grass, and the sound of hooves, we remember who we really are.

Horses teach us patience because trust cannot be rushed.

They teach us humility because no amount of pride can force a connection.

And they teach us loyalty because once a bond is built, it becomes something stronger than words.

Years from now, people may forget the things we owned, the jobs we worked, or the mistakes we made.

But they will remember how we made others feel.

And horses never forget kindness.

That is why the relationship between a horse and a human is so special.

It is not based on what either can take.

It is based on what both are willing to give.

A little trust.

A little patience.

A little love.

And sometimes, that is enough to change a life forever.

You just never know what you're going to get when you buy a horse, but that's not always a bad thing. We bought Ariat back in October 2025. She was underweight and had a disheveled appearance, but just look at her now! And unbeknownst to us, we got more than we bargained for. Meet Luchesse. Ariat gave birth to her just a few days ago on April 22, 2026. We're so happy. We don't know who the father is, but Luchesse is destined to be a big girl. Her Mom, Ariat, is an 18 hand Perceron and really gorgeous now with more weight on her and her winter coat shed out. What a nice surprise. We got a two-fer.

Didn't get that puppy you wanted for Christmas? Well, that's okay. You can get it for Valentine's Day - or even a little sooner. We have a litter of 8 Cocker Spaniel puppies who will have their first 5-way Parvo puppy shot and be ready to go to their new families on Feb 4th. If you need us to hold them till Valentine's Day, we can do that.

There are 5 boys and 3 girls, and they are registered. Both parents are on site. The sire and dam are my personal pets. I'm not a breeder by trade. This is our third and final litter. They were born in my bedroom where they still reside. In the photo of the 3 dogs, the dam (Bella) is in the top left position, and the dad (Bear) is in the top right. The black dog on the bottom is mine but unrelated to the puppies in this litter.

They are healthy, playful puppies. I'm sure they will bring you hours of enjoyment just like Bella and Bear give me. They ride on the 4-wheeler and the tractor, and they run the bridle trails with me and our customers on horseback. They romp through the creeks, the pond, and try to climb the trees to get the squirrels. But when I'm at home working on my computer, they are quiet and respectful. They don't make me feel obligated to entertain them when we don't go to the farm. They are the perfect combination of active and cuddly, i.e. they can keep up with me, but they can settle down and hang out when we stay inside. They are incredibly loyal; I don't have to keep up with them. They keep up with me because they're afraid they'll miss out on the fun if they don't!
