Grab your bike and join Oaks & Spokes for a kid-focused group bike ride this summer! “Kidical Mass” rides are fun bike parties that demonstrate that streets should be (and can be!) safe to use for all ages. Rides will gather at 5:30pm on Friday, June 26th at Green Hills Park; Friday, July 17th at the Walnut Creek Wetlands Center; and Friday, August 7th at Eastgate Park.
All rides will be 2.5-3 miles and will feature a mid-ride stop to enjoy a sweet treat (dairy-free options available). Kids of all ages encouraged, but those riding independently should be able to balance a two-wheeled bike. Cargo bikes, kid seats, and trailers are also welcome. View routes and a detailed FAQ:

Have you visited the new Brumley bridge yet? 🌳🚴
Last year, Tropical Storm Chantal impacted much of the Triangle, including washing away the large bridge on Brumley South's Springhouse Loop—cutting off access between the eastern and western halves of the preserve.
Thanks to generous TLC donors and fundraising efforts from Triangle Off-Road Cyclists (TORC), we were able to successfully rebuild a new, stronger bridge for the community to enjoy for years to come.
This Saturday, April 18, from 10 AM - 1 PM, TLC and TORC are gathering to celebrate the new bridge and the power of collaboration. Connect with TLC and TORC, join in on group bike rides, and celebrate community. Short remarks will be held at the New Hope Church Road parking lot, where attendees can park in addition to the University Station Road lot.
