Due to the excitement around Carolina Explosion, we've officially converted our July 25th Open Gym into a TRYOUT DATE! 👀🏐

We'll be releasing full tryout details later this week, so make sure to turn on post notifications so you don't miss it.

In the meantime, registration is still open for our two FREE Summer Open Gyms on July 11th and July 18th.

Meet our Administrative Director, Tasha Gaskins. 💥

Tasha brings a wealth of leadership, operational, and organizational experience to Carolina Explosion, but perhaps most importantly, she brings the perspective of a volleyball parent.

As the mother of two daughters who have competed at the club, school, and beach levels, Tasha understands firsthand the investment families make in this sport. She has experienced volleyball from every angle and is passionate about helping create an environment where athletes and families feel supported, informed, and valued.

With a background in leadership and a Master of Social Work, Tasha approaches club operations with intentionality, communication, and a commitment to serving the whole athlete—not just the player on the court.

As Carolina Explosion enters a new era, Tasha is focused on building an experience that families can trust and athletes can be proud to be a part of.

Meet our Director of Volleyball Operations, Jasmine Sanders. 💥

Jasmine brings a unique combination of high-level playing experience, coaching expertise, and leadership to Carolina Explosion. A former Division I and Division II collegiate athlete, she has spent years coaching travel volleyball, leading camps, providing private instruction, and mentoring athletes through their development and recruiting journeys.

We believe there is tremendous value in having coaches who have competed at the next level and can share those experiences with the athletes they coach. Jasmine's firsthand understanding of collegiate volleyball, recruiting, and the demands of competing at a high level allows her to provide valuable insight and mentorship to players pursuing their own goals.

Beyond the court, Jasmine has built a career in consulting, real estate, and entrepreneurship, experiences that have strengthened her ability to lead teams, develop people, and build organizations with purpose.

As Carolina Explosion enters a new era, Jasmine is focused on creating meaningful opportunities for athletes while helping establish a culture centered on growth, accountability, competition, and long-term player development.

At Carolina Explosion, our goal isn't simply to put athletes on a roster.

We're building a club for athletes who want to improve, compete, and grow.

Of course we offer training, position work, recruiting support, and opportunities to develop your game. Those things matter.

But what matters even more is who our athletes become throughout the process.

We're building leaders.

We're building confidence.

We're building work ethic.

We're building teammates who support one another and athletes who are committed to getting better every day.

Because volleyball is about more than the next tournament.

It's about preparing athletes for whatever comes next.
