This tryout is specifically for our 14U Girls team and is open to athletes ages 12–14 who are still looking for the right club home this season.

🏐 Want more reps, more focused training, and more opportunities to develop your game? CE Ignite is for you.

CE Ignite is our flexible athlete development program for players who want to keep training, building their skills, and getting better throughout the season without the commitment of joining a full Carolina Explosion club team.

From November through April, athletes receive up to four training opportunities each month, including:

🏐 Volleyball Skills Clinics focused on technical development, position specific work, and high repetition training

💪 Worthy Performance Sessions focused on strength, explosiveness, vertical development, speed, and agility

CE Ignite is also a great opportunity to experience what Carolina Explosion has to offer before joining one of our club teams. Train with our coaches, experience our approach to athlete development, and become part of the CE community while continuing to grow your game. 💥

November through April | $100/month or $550 paid in full before November

We’re excited to officially kick off our partnership with Worthy Volleyball Plyometrics and give our Carolina Explosion families a first look at what this collaboration will bring to our athletes this season!

At CE, we want athlete development to go beyond what happens on the volleyball court. Through our partnership with Worthy, strength and conditioning, jump training, and overall athletic development are built directly into the CE experience throughout the 2026–27 season.

On Saturday, September 12th from 9:00–11:00 AM, our athletes will come together at Worthy for a special Athlete Strength Clinic, while parents will have the opportunity to join in with an optional Parent Boot Camp of their own. 💪

🏐 This event is exclusively for our 2026–27 CE club team athletes who have already accepted an offer with our club and their families. Not a CE club member? Don’t worry! We’ll have more events and opportunities for athletes outside of Carolina Explosion in the future.

Due to the continued interest we’ve received from families, we’re excited to announce one final 14U Make-Up Tryout for the 2026–2027 Carolina Explosion season!

This tryout is exclusively for our 14U team (ages 12–14) and is the final opportunity for athletes in this age group to be evaluated for our roster. We already have a fantastic group of committed athletes, and we’re looking forward to seeing if there are a few more players who would be a great fit for what we’re building this season.

🏐 Supplemental Tryouts Are Tomorrow! 🏐

Haven’t found your home for the 2026–2027 club season? If you weren’t able to attend our initial tryouts, we’d love to have you join us tomorrow!

We have an awesome group of athletes already registered, and we’re excited to see everyone compete. If you’ve been thinking about coming out, this is a great opportunity to be evaluated and see if Carolina Explosion is the right fit for you.

14U Update: We’ve had an incredible amount of interest and outreach for our 14U team! Because of that, we’ve decided to schedule an additional 14U tryout for late August to early September. We’re finalizing the details now and expect to announce the official date within the next week. We can’t wait to see even more athletes come out!

Here are a few updates on our current roster needs:

At this time, we do not have any open DS/Libero positions across our teams, with the exception of our 14 National team. If additional DS opportunities become available later in the season, we’ll be sure to share an update.

As we continue building our teams, we’re looking for athletes who will be a great addition to the talented groups that have already committed. While not every position will be added to every roster, we’re always excited to evaluate athletes who are the right fit for our program and the culture we’re building.

We’re incredibly excited about the teams we’ve built for the 2026–27 season! 🔥

Following an outstanding tryout weekend and an incredible response from our volleyball community, our rosters have officially been formed, and we can’t wait to see these teams compete this season.

As we continue preparing for the season, we do have a few additional opportunities across several teams. If we find athletes who are a great fit for our program and the needs of a team, we’ll continue adding to our rosters where it makes sense. We’re excited to continue building on the strong foundation that’s already in place!

This weekend was incredible! Thank you to everyone who came out to Carolina Explosion tryouts. We had an amazing turnout, got to see so much talent, and have already begun extending offers across our teams.

We’ve also received a lot of messages from athletes who couldn’t make our main tryout weekend, so we’re excited to announce two Make-Up Tryout opportunities!
