🚨 18U Open USSSA Bring The Heat Champions 🥎
Congratulations to 18U Northern Calvert Fury on winning the Bring The Heat Championship July 26, 2026.

On Saturday the Northern Calvert Fury had a chance to play against a very well coached and very talented 18U Czech Republic 🇨🇿 Team who made the 12 hour trip to the United States. The Czech Republic team is scheduled to play in several events in the United States over the next few weeks. The Fury pulled out a 7-5 win on Saturday in pool play to get the #1 seed going into elimination play on Sunday. On Sunday both teams made their way through the bracket to met again in the Championship game for another battle. It was a great game from start to finish with fantastic play from both team. The Fury was able to win the game 7-5 in another great game between two talented teams showing a great display softball and sportsmanship. Congratulations to Team Czech Republic on a great weekend. The girls had a chance to talk after the games and make some new friends.

Congratulations to 18U Northern Calvert Fury P/OF #11 Rylee Dennison (2027) on throwing a 5-0 win on Saturday July 25th Rylee has had a solid season in the circle for the Fury. When Rylee isn’t pitching she is tracking ball in the outfield in her secondary position. Great day at the ball park for Rylee.

Great day at the plater for Vanessa Brooks (Barton College), Jordyn Greever (CSM), Madalee Hunley (2027 - Huntingtown High) and Lindsay Hunter (Frostburg University). Each player had a home run on Saturday July 25th at the Bring The Heat Tournament. Madalee Hunley started Game 1 off with a leadoff home run against the Pride. Jordyn Greever followed up later in the 4th inning with a home run. During Game 2 Lindsey Hunter hit a 2 run homer with the game tied in the last inning against Czech Republic to give the Fury the win. In Game 3 Vanessa Brooks started things off in the 2 spot with a 2 run homer to get things started against DE Finest. Good day a the ball park.
