Triangle Kendo Iaido

Dear all, announcements will be going out soon for the annual SEUSKF Championship Taikai and Shinsa (up to 4 Dan).
It will be hosted by the Charlotte Kendo Vlub and is scheduled to have a shinpan refresher on Friday Oct 9 evening, championship Taikai on Oct 10, and a Shinsa Oct 11 morning filled by an open team practice in the afternoon on the 11th ( will be at a separate venue than the Shinsa )

I wanted to bring people’s attention to these SEUSKF stickers (see image) that will be available for sale. There are only about 90 of them. They are about 2.5 inches in diameter and will cost $1.00 each.

TKI Tuesday practice 6/16/26
Euphie's birthday keiko!!!🥳
As a birthday gift, we gave her 100 x Hayasuburi, and *kakari-geiko* with all the participants.
Happy birthday, Euphie!!!

4/11 TKI annual meeting/dinner at George's restaurant "Boatman Spirits Co.".
This year, nearly twice as many members participated as usual.

The meeting included, "State of TKI", introduce the "2025 rank promotion Passers" "election of this year's BOD members", and discussion of "how to develop the dojo this year" etc.
We also screened the annual retrospective video—a tradition we started last year—and also hosted a quiz contest featuring Kendo trivia questions.
Additionally, we held a joint celebration to honor Thomas and Euphie on their recent marriage, Yamamura sensei on his birthday last month, and Kassi sensei on his upcoming birthday next month.🥳
