Joey brings nearly 20 years of private club experience to Wakefield, most recently serving as Head Golf Professional at Wethersfield Country Club in Connecticut. A Campbell University graduate, he's excited to return to North Carolina and begin this next chapter with our club.

With a passion for member service, tournament programming, and growing the game, Joey is looking forward to meeting our members and leading WP's golf operations into the future.

The Speakeasy officially opened at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation for our June Couples Golf event, and what a night it was! Members stepped back into the Roaring '20s for an evening of golf, laughter, and Gatsby-inspired fun, all while enjoying another beautiful summer evening on the course.
