Upon first taste this lively vintage reminds of refreshing outings with smooth notes showing off bold colors and a memorable finish.

After his successful career as a professional cyclist, which included breaking the hour record and launching a bike brand of his own, Francesco Moser did the natural next step and took over the family winery. It’s still operating today! Our friend Dan even gave it a tour and it inspired him to breath life into this old frame.

Of course we were more than excited to help him breathe new life into an old bike. We hooked it up with SimWorks USA for a great 26.0 stem, DT Swiss official R460 rims, and an 11 speed mechanical SRAM Road group.

Overall we’re gonna rate this one a 51.151 out of 51.151

Cheers Dan!

we’re throwing an alleycat!

this one is a bike ride that is about being a bike rider. it’ll be like speed dating but with different styles of biking. and it’ll be low stakes, for everyones sake. it was also a great excuse to make you all look at pictures of our cats. its the kind of race where you can go as fast or as slow as you want, where you test your wits and navigation skills.

cat of all trades is a task-based alleycat. its simple: ride to a spot, find the volunteer staffing the checkpoint, complete the task, they sign your manifest and off you go to the next one until you’ve done the entire list, and then you ride back to the shop.

registration for the ride starts at 4:30, and ride rolls at 5PM. ride it solo or ride with friends, but please come! you might get a prize! we’ll hang out after, and rumor has it that bike rides are the best way to fight the sunday scaries.

see you sunday 8/30!

Yall - it’s been so fun running through the trails on our challenge with ya

If you didn’t know back in 2018 we dreamt up a mountain bike challenge to highlight the amazing trails in the area!

It’s called Tetractus🔸👁️🍕🌋

Essentially all you have to do is ride at least a bit of all the 10 listed Triangle Off-Road Cyclists maintained trails. Then you get an exclusive glittery patch!

Some stuff has changed since 2018 so we’ve updated the list. Here it is!

-Beaverdam
-Briar Chapel
-Brumley
-Carolina North
-Harris Lake
-Lake Crabtree/286
-Little River
-New Light
-Williamson Preserve
-Forrest Ridge

You don’t have to ride these with us to earn the patch but in the coming weeks we’ll be leading a few group rides if you want some company :)

The next one will be Sunday Aug 9th, at Brumley at 10 am! Meet at the New Hope Church Rd parking lot. (We’ll reschedule if the trail is closed for rain)

Check out the routes page on our website for more info. Also consider donating to Triangle Off-Road Cyclists if you’ve enjoyed them! Thanks for making them possible yall.

We’re cruising this Thursday! 🚢🚢🚢

Every third Thursday of the month we run “the slowest ride in town!” A lil bop around town maybe 10 miles or less with a nice break in the middle. Sometimes we do fun activities. It’s a great way to get your bike-curious friend out there in a chill environment.

This time we’re getting wet! Maybe bring a swimsuit. Iykyk

We roll about 7:30 pm from the shop Thursday July 16
