We know, we say this a lot, but what a weekend we have on deck! It’s real hot and maybe it’s gonna be rainy, but you know we press on!

We’ve got Open Sandlot in Chapel Hill on Saturday and Durham on Sunday, and a game between the Dirtbags and Possums Saturday evening. Raleigh is foregoing Open Sandlot and instead showing out at the Unplugged Arcade Baseball Shuffle “Sandlot Classic” at Transfer Co. Ballroom on Saturday (find more info on our main feed). As always, Open Sandlot is open to any and all who wish to join-just show up with a glove and a bat if you have one, and you’re in. Doesn’t matter if you’ve never played, doesn’t matter if you played D1 in college, doesn’t matter if you’re q***r, non-binary, gay, straight, cis, or any other identity. Just come play! If you’re new to us and you want to know how to get on one of our teams, the best way to go about that is to show up to Open Sandlots, get to know the community, and be a positive contributor to the good vibes-from there a roster invite will usually follow.

It’s a potluck, it’s a home run derby, it’s an Open Sandlot game, it’s gonna be a ton of fun! Come be a part of it!!!
