Today we're taking a quick break from deer to wish a very Happy Birthday to Christina, one half of the team behind G-DET. 🎂🦌

She's a hunter, a veteran, a mom, and the woman behind a whole lot of what happens around here, both in the shop and behind the scenes.

Long before George's Dead End Taxidermy, there were years in the woods, a whole lot of life lived, and plenty of memories made. Now this exciting little business has become another part of that story, and one she's pretty damn proud of.

A little look around G-DET lately. 🦌

The workbench is getting more and more use, the tools are earning their keep, there’s usually something on a stand, and the walls are slowly filling up with pieces of local history, hunting memories, and things that mean something to us.

This is what we’ve got going on behind the scenes when we’re not out chasing deer ourselves. 😂

It’s pretty damn cool to stand back every once in a while and look at what this place has become.

Deer season is officially underway! 🦌

We made one small tweak as we head into the season, our introductory rate for discounted whitetail shoulder mounts is now $475. We are also permanently offering 10% off to veterans and active duty military. ♥️

Same work. Same attention to detail. Just a little better starting price for our local hunters while those introductory spots are available.
