This season, Harper Brown stepped up as our #1 starting pitcher, and with that role can come a lot of pressure especially for a young athlete.

But pressure didn’t seem to bother Harper one bit! 🥎🔥

In the very first game of our first tournament of the fall season, she came out ready to compete and absolutely showed out. A NO-HITTER in the circle AND 2 HOME RUNS at the plate! 💣💣

That’s one heck of a way to start the season and set the tone!

Great job, Harper! Keep working hard, trusting yourself, and competing every pitch. We are extremely proud of you! 💪🥎❤️

The month of August marks the beginning of a new softball season, and with it comes a flurry of activity as teams gear up and players prepare for tryouts. As a coach, my advice is to carefully consider the team you and your daughter choose to join. It can be tempting to fall for the promises of big talking coaches, but keep in mind that not all of these promises may come true. What's most important is that your daughter is happy and enjoying the game. Don't push her onto a team with false promises that may ultimately break her love for softball. Instead, allow her to make her own decision and choose what she wants to do. While it's important to consider the best recruiting opportunities for your daughter, it's even more crucial to remember that if she's not having fun, she will never succeed in anything she does. So choose wisely and prioritize her happiness above all else.

As the summer season comes to an end, we'd like to congratulate our girls on another outstanding season!

We finished with a 72% winning percentage, ranked #7 in Texas in USSSA 16U B, and #1 in Texas in NCS 18U. We reached the top bracket in every tournament we played except one—the USSSA Road to the Show in Oklahoma. Even then, these girls showed incredible determination by battling back on the final day, going undefeated, and winning the Gold Bracket Championship.

We couldn't be more proud of the effort, heart, and resilience this team showed all season long. Thank you to our players for their hard work and dedication, and to our parents for your continued support throughout the summer.

As the fall season approaches and our girls prepare to head back to school, we wish each of them the very best school year possible. Keep working hard in the classroom and on the field!
