What an absolute whirlwind of a season at Crescent Bar! Looking back on everything we've shared, explored, and talked about, it’s safe to say this community has one of the coolest stories around.

If you haven't been following along or want to catch up on the highlights, here is a look back at the incredible topics that defined our season:

Ancient Origins & Wild Geology: We dug deep into how Crescent Bar was formed millions of years ago by massive basalt-producing lava flows and violently sculpted by the Ice Age Missoula Floods.

The River's Past & Infrastructure: We looked at the history of the Wanapum Dam shaping the modern reservoir and turning the bar into the ultimate waterfront playground. Learned about fish, river monsters and other invasive species.

Local Lore: We uncovered the dramatic stories behind the area, including the local history of military training flights and why those jets fly down the river corridor.

The Road In: We talked about the famous descent down the winding access road that finally opens up to that breathtaking view of the cliffs.

Endless Recreation: From promoting endless boat, jet ski, and paddleboard rentals to highlighting local wineries and summer concerts, we covered every single way to live the river life to the absolute fullest.

Community Traditions: We celebrated the people and local history that make CB special, including community events and the unforgettable efforts put in by local legends like Tom and Debbie.

Behind the Scenes: My Personal Favorite
Out of everything we explored this season, my absolute favorite thing was watching the jet post explode with analytics, which told me you guys loved to learn about the area! That inspired me to help fulfill that curiosity—trying to teach and show you all the things I have learned about CB in my 20 years of visiting the area. Knowing how much this community cares about the deep history, local events, and hidden details of the region makes sharing it all so rewarding.
