A river community is more than a place—it’s a family connected by the water. It’s a group of people who look out for one another, share adventures, celebrate together, lend a hand when it’s needed, and show up for each other when it matters most.

Right now, one of our own needs his river family.

Everett, our River Operations Manager, is in the hospital fighting cancer, and we’re asking our community to surround him with prayers, love, strength, and well wishes.

Everett is an important part of our river family, and now it’s our turn to remind him just how many people are standing beside him.

We’re creating this post especially for Everett to read, so please fill the comments with words of encouragement, favorite memories, funny stories, photos, prayers, or simply a message letting him know you’re thinking about him.

Let’s give Everett something he can come back to whenever he needs a little extra strength—a reminder that an entire river community is behind him, cheering him on.

💧🗑️ THIS SUNDAY FROM 10A-2P 🗑️💧Join River and Trail Outfitters & Harpers Ferry Adventure Center at (📍90 Millville Road, Harpers Ferry WV) for our end-of-tubing-season roadside clean up day!

🌟 Trash bags, Grabbers & High Visibility Vests will be provided
🌟 Pizza Lunch for volunteers will be provided by Harpers Ferry Brewing. Meet up afterwards for cold brews and beautiful views!
🌟 Bring your gloves, hydration and eco-friendly energy to help keep our rivers clean!
