🥊 Gloves Up Guns Down

Gloves Up Guns Down is a Providence, Rhode Island–based youth boxing and mentorship program founded by Lamont Powell. The program uses boxing, fitness, discipline, and mentorship to give young people a positive environment and an alternative to violence and negative influences. This mission has also been documented by local media and community organizations.
