LFA CEO announced today that the promotion will return to , on Friday, October 30th, with LFA 245, headlined by a lightweight world title bout as Ansar Khamzaev 🇷🇺 faces Juliano Prescendo 🇧🇷 for the vacant championship.

The LFA lightweight title became vacant after interim champion Jefferson “Toddynho” Nascimento and linear champion Richie Miranda both signed with the , opening the door for two of the division’s top contenders to battle for the vacant title.

“Niagara Falls has always been a great market for us, and there’s no better way to crown a new lightweight champion than with two hungry contenders fighting for a vacant title,” stated Soares. “Juliano Prescendo has been on a tear and is ready to prove he belongs at the top of the division. Ansar Khamzaev is undefeated and has looked spectacular in every outing so far. This is exactly the kind of fight our fans in New York deserve, two elite lightweights putting it all on the line for gold.”

Ansar Khamzaev (6-0), who brings an unblemished record and a dangerous skill set into his first LFA title opportunity. Khamzaev looks to keep his perfect record intact and announce himself as the promotion’s newest world champion in only his sixth professional bout.

Standing across the cage will be Juliano Prescendo (12-3) who enters the bout as one of the lightweight division’s most tested contenders, having faced consistently tough competition throughout his career. Now stepping into the biggest fight of his career, Prescendo looks to capture the vacant LFA Lightweight World Championship and establish himself atop one of the promotion’s most competitive weight classes.

The promotion will make history on Friday, September 11th, with LFA 241, marking the promotion’s debut in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais — the sixth Brazilian state to host an LFA event. LFA 241 will take place inside the Ginásio Mineirinho, and will be headlined by a bantamweight world title bout as Vinicius Pires faces Rafael Pereira for the vacant championship.

“Belo Horizonte has been on our radar for a long time, and there’s no better way to introduce LFA to Minas Gerais than with a vacant world title fight between the two best bantamweights in Brazil,” stated . “Rafael Pereira hasn’t lost since 2018 and has earned this opportunity, and doing it in his home state makes it even more special.
