Ranger Station Road is now back open. What that means is Round Mountain and Lookout Mountain is easily accessible after nearly 6 weeks of closure from the Rowe Creek Wildfire.

Add some moisture to the soil and a Holiday Weekend. In our eyes there’s one clear choice, to RIP Lookout Mountain. 🏔️ 🚲 💨

NEW BIKE DAY! 🤘🔥

This fifth-grader just went from a 24” mountain bike to an adult XS Salsa Timberjack with 29” wheels, tubeless tires, Shimano 12-speed, and RockShox air suspension. A seriously capable bike for a seriously capable kid — and he’s making leaps and bounds from where he started. Central Oregon trails, NICA racing, and plenty of adventures ahead. Let’s go! ⛰️🚵‍♂️💨

Happy New Bike Day my friend. It’s fun working with families and kids as they grow up. Gaining more confidence and getting into adult sized bikes being able now to tackle longer rides, bigger hills and faster descents.

For the past couple of weeks, our community has been living with smoke, uncertainty, and the constant presence of wildfire. Through it all, we’ve been reminded just how special Prineville and this community is.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible firefighters, first responders, dispatchers, and support crews who continue working tirelessly to protect our homes, our land, and our community. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and we’re deeply grateful for everything you do.

We’ve also been inspired by our neighbors—checking in on one another, lending a hand, and showing the kind of resilience that makes this community so strong.

Like many local businesses, things have been a little quieter lately, and we sure miss seeing familiar faces. If you’re looking for a place to stop in, take a break, cool off, or simply talk bikes, we’d love to see you. Grab a cold pint, check out what’s new in the shop, or just say hello.

Our thoughts remain with everyone still affected by the fires, and we’re hoping for continued progress and, most of all, the safety of everyone working on the front lines.
