We’re proud to keep that partnership going! Our Data Center Community Action Grants are now part of the “Future is for Everyone Fund,” Meta’s $1 billion commitment to the U.S. communities that host a Meta data center. Applications open today!

From September 14 - October 19 we are sourcing projects across four themes: Community Enhancement, Economic Vitality, Education, and Sustainability. Same local focus, same application portal, and returning applicants are always welcome.�

Save the Date! Our annual community grants program is now part of the Future is for Everyone Fund, Meta's $1 billion commitment to invest directly in the U.S. communities that host a Meta data center. Applications open on September 14 for schools, nonprofits, and community organizations that make this a great place to live and work.

When the call opens, you'll be able to apply for projects across four focus areas:
🤝 Community Enhancement: the shared spaces and services that bring people together, from parks, trails, and gathering places to connectivity and support for first responders like police, firefighters, and paramedics.

💲Economic Vitality: supporting the people and organizations that power local economies — helping workers gain the skills, certifications, and hands-on experience the modern economy rewards, and backing initiatives that create jobs and give a community its character.

🎓Education: programs, tools, and spaces that help learners of every age discover what they're capable of, from early literacy and the arts to hands-on science and technology, plus resources for the educators who make it happen.

🌳Sustainability: caring for the land, water, and wildlife that make this area home, including habitat restoration and conservation that connect people to the natural world.

The rodeo, the energy from the crowd, the community spirit — the Crooked River Roundup has it all! Some of our team members got out to the event and had an absolute blast.

The Crooked River Roundup is a Prineville and Crook County tradition through and through. It's the heritage of the Cowboy Capital of Oregon, built over the years by the volunteers, participants, and community members who make it what it is. Events like this are what make Prineville such a special place to live and work, and we love being part of it.

We're proud to call Central Oregon home, and showing up to celebrate the culture and traditions of this community is one of the best parts of being here. Whether it's cheering from the stands, catching up with neighbors, or just soaking in a beautiful evening at the arena, nights like these remind us why we love this place.

Last week, Meta joined dozens of local businesses and organizations at the Annual Prineville Stampede Street Party hosted by the Prineville Chamber, and it was such a great time!

We loved being part of such a fun community event and connecting with Prineville residents and visitors. It was awesome to have so many people stop by our booth to chat about the work Meta does here in Central Oregon, ask questions, and grab some swag along the way.

Events like the Stampede Street Party are what make Prineville such a special place to be, and we're proud to be part of a community that comes together like this. We had meaningful conversations with neighbors, local business owners, and families, and it reminded us why we love calling Prineville home.

On Tuesday evening, Meta was proud to sponsor and attend the 5th annual Rural Oregon Community Foundation Dinner & Dance at the Crook County Fairgrounds! It was a great night of fun and fundraising in support of their mission of preserving the Western way of life, and a perfect way to kick off Crooked River Roundup week.

Organizations like the Rural Oregon Community Foundation are doing meaningful work to keep our local traditions and community strong here in Central Oregon, and we're grateful to be a part of it. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable evening!

Big news in clean energy ☀️🔋

Last week, Meta announced two partnerships pushing the boundaries of what's possible for powering AI infrastructure.

We're working with Overview Energy to bring solar power from space to Earth—satellites collecting sunlight around the clock and beaming it to solar farms on the ground. And we're partnering with Noon Energy on ultra-long-duration storage that can hold clean energy for days, not just hours.

These are the kinds of investments that help strengthen the grid and support reliable power for our data center operations here and across the country.

🌎🧊 April is Earth month — and we're proud to share a closer look at the water restoration work happening in Los Lunas.

Water is a shared and vital resource — and at Meta, our goal is to become water positive in 2030. That means restoring more water than we consume in our operations, while partnering with local communities to boost supply, enhance quality, and protect ecosystems.

Yesterday, we announced that we’re breaking ground on our 28th U.S. Meta data center in Tulsa, Oklahoma! When coming to a new community, Meta is committed to making a positive impact by investing in local schools and nonprofits, partnering on local water restoration projects, adding energy to the grid and supporting local jobs to build and operate the data center.

We're building the future of human connection and once operational, the Tulsa Data Center will be part of the highly advanced infrastructure that helps connect billions of people around the world.
