Congratulations to Byron and Graycee on starting their season off strong with a great long and short round qualifications! We’ll get to watch them tonight at 7:00 with Byron in the Saddle Bronc riding AND the Tie Down Roping, and Graycee in the Breakaway Roping short round!

Overall the team has had a great rodeo weekend so far, and we had several more athletes come up just shy of the short round.

Help us wish these two good luck tonight!

Another year in the books 🫡 That’s a wrap for our CNFR 2026. We had a little tough luck at the finals and it didn’t go as well as we’d hoped. But, what a fantastic year! We hope Saydee Davis, Byron Christiansen and Howdy Jackson are holding their heads high! What an accomplishment it is to have the success they’ve had this year and for their National qualifications. They’ve worked so hard and proved their ranks with the very best in the nation. Let’s all congratulate them on an amazing year in and out of the arena. 🙌🏽

Now we start preparations for next year!

It’s finally here! The College National Finals Rodeo here in Casper Wyoming! We’ll kick the week off tonight at 6:00pm for the Arm Band Ceremony and then its rodeo time. 👊🏽 Here is our schedule for the week. Go Eagles! 🦅

The Utah State University Eastern rodeo team wrapped up an impressive season at the regional finals held at Utah Valley University, showcasing grit, consistency, and a season's worth of hard work paying off.

Huge congratulations to these athletes! We look forward to you representing Utah State Eastern at the College National Finals Rodeo this June in Casper.

We ended the year with TWO Region Champions, 3rd place Men’s & Women’s All Around, and a 3rd place Team Roping Heeler.

The amount of points both the men’s and women’s team acquired this year is very impressive for the number of athletes that were competing. Every member contributed points this year and we’re proud of all of them! It was a great season.

Now it’s back to the practice pen to prepare for the finals!
