Thank you Kingpins for hosting the BCIS family yesterday! We had a great time. 3 years ago we made a decision to bring the youth wheelchair basketball program into our non profit! Our goal was to grow the programs and grow our community partnerships. Fast forward, we now have 5 wheelchair bball teams, sled hockey team, try it days for Lacrosse and Curling. We have developed some great partnerships. All of this with a staff that is 100% volunteer based. Today the BCIS Family celebrates Andrew Norton! He has played wheelchair bball for over 13 years. He has been a leader and mentor to all of our athletes! He will be heading to Oregon next year! Good luck Andrew, we will miss you!
