Cully Strength is a small gym located in the Cully neighborhood. We offer fun, science-based, fitness classes and personal training for everyone

At CSP we offer classes that are specific to the needs of each member. This is not a cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all, training program. This is a taylor-made, exactly-what-you-need type of training program. Each month week, and single session are planned out with your goals in mind to make sure that each person gets exactly the workout that will benefit them the most. If youre looking to become an elite athlete or just make the stairs a little easier, you will benefit from training at CSP.

Each year a group of Cully Strength coaches and members escape to the mountains for a weekend of quality time including games, outdoor adventures, and cooking. Here are some sweet moments from the Mount Hood cabin when we went in March. Coach Mike threw down in the kitchen with an incredible four course meal, and we all learned how to play Blood On The Clocktower. Can’t wait for the next one! 💚

Join us for a long overdue warm welcome to Coach Iris! Iris has been coaching at Cully Strength since December and has been an absolute joy to have on the team.

What started as an active lifestyle from a young age turned into a passion for understanding how the body adapts throughout training as well as injury. She began her career as a sports performance coach for athletes, and throughout the years began working with adults who want to reintroduce movement into their lifestyle, but aren’t sure where to begin.

Online fitness information can feel loud and overwhelming, so she aims to simplify the process and help people feel confident in their training. Iris is especially passionate about getting women under a barbell—building strength not just physically, but mentally—through education, curiosity, and intentional movement.

Outside of the gym you can find her playing indoor and outdoor volleyball, pickleball, traveling, reading, exploring Portland, and stopping any and every individual to pet their dog.

She coaches classes in the mornings Monday through Friday, and is currently accepting new clients for personal training! Known for starting class with a quirky “question of the day”, she’s bound to bring a smile and a laugh to every workout. Her infectious energy, passion for coaching, and impressive sneaker game make her an invaluable member of the team. We couldn’t be happier to have her at Cully Strength!
