Calling all TTX alumni! It’s our 30th anniversary and we’d love to invite alumni that have EVER climbed or coached for Team Texas in our first homecoming event. The morning after banquet, 9/27 between 10am-1pm swing by! Please wear some vintage TTX gear if you have it, grab a brunch item and come hang, mingle, and climb at Carrollton! If you have your senior scrapbook or poster, bring it along to share and revisit old memories! Please pass the word along and TAG any TTX alumni in the comments!

Coach Lawrence (Lawrence Chidozie Osefoh) has been rotating around Movement Gyms Dallas-Fort Worth locations to offer insight to the Movement athletes and their coaches. He’s been enjoying sharing his framework for climbing and getting to know and encourage everyone!

While a love for the sport of climbing and a willingness to work hard is what brought Kai to Team Texas, the values, community and traditions are what he will take away. Team Texas, coaches and teammates, have been a second family fostering perseverance, independence, sportsmanship, a healthy competitive mindset, fitness, and kindness…but Team has fostered other passions as well like Exploring Dallas for collectible Hot Wheels, exchanging favorite books, paddle boarding on Grapevine Lake, getting lost hiking the Swiss Alps, and summiting his first 14er. He is excited to attend Auburn University in the fall to further explore his passions for aviation and the great outdoors.
