Seven parts.

The triangle choke. The rear naked choke.
Kuzushi. The hip bump. The shoulder throw.

This one ties it all together.

His structure is completely gone here. By
every rule this series has shown you, the
throw doesn't work anymore.

It does.

Because the strike isn't there to hurt
him β€” it's there to buy one second of
space. That one second is enough to reset
his hips and take the structure back.

That's the whole series in one sentence:
break their structure, you're in control.
Lose yours, they are. Take it back, and
the fight resets.

This is Part 7 β€” the final part of the
subway attack series.

If you've been here since Part 1, thank
you for following the whole thing.

πŸ’¬ Out of all seven parts, which one
surprised you the most? Tell me below.

Out of everything in this series so far β€”
the triangle choke, the rear naked choke,
Kuzushi, the shoulder throw β€”

Part 6 is the one that surprises people most.

Because Scott's method isn't complicated.

It isn't fast.

It doesn't require strength or size
or any kind of athletic advantage.

It's a hip bump.

That's genuinely it.

One small shift of the hips before the
choke is fully locked in β€” and suddenly
the person being choked can't escape.

Not because the choke got stronger.

Because their balance is gone.

And when your balance is gone,
your body panics.
Your muscles stop cooperating.
Your instincts start working against you.

That's the principle of Kuzushi.
And this is the simplest version
we've shown in this entire series.

Part 6 of the subway attack breakdown.

Watch it. Then tell me in the comments β€”
did you think something this small
could make that much difference?

πŸ’¬ Drop your answer below πŸ‘‡

85,000 people saw the attack in Part 1.

Most of them missed the most important thing.

It wasn't the choke.

It was what happened right before it.

Watch the original footage again, carefully.
The attacker doesn't just grab the victim's neck.

He breaks his balance first.

That one moment β€” before the choke was even
fully applied β€” made everything else inevitable.

It's called Kuzushi.

It's a Japanese principle that translates to
"off-balancing." Breaking structure before you attack.

And once someone takes away your posture
and your balance?

Your strength doesn't matter.
Your size doesn't matter.
Your instincts don't matter.

In Part 5, Sensei Nir demonstrates this
against someone significantly bigger than him.

No strength advantage.
Just one principle applied correctly.

Then two students show something you have to see:
how proper positioning creates complete control
without using force.

This is the detail that changes everything β€”
not just in understanding the attack,
but in understanding how to defend against it.

Watch it. Share it. It matters.

Here's something most self-defense content will never tell you:

The technique didn't fail.
The attack got better.

And that's the most important lesson Sensei Nir has ever taught.

In Part 3 of our series, we showed how Koshi Nage β€” a classical
hip throw from traditional Japanese martial arts β€” can reverse
a triangle choke attack, even against a bigger, stronger opponent.

And it works. Beautifully. Under the right conditions.

Part 4 is about what happens when those conditions change.

When an experienced attacker doesn't just grab and hold β€”
when they break your posture, collapse your structure,
and apply the choke while disrupting your base β€”
your ability to execute the hip throw drops dramatically.

Not because the technique is wrong.
Because the attack is better.

This is the most honest thing we can tell you about self-defense:

❌ There is no technique that always works.
βœ… There IS a level of understanding that makes you harder to defeat.

The better you understand the attack, the better your defense becomes.
That's not a weakness. That's how real martial arts actually works.

In this video, you'll learn:

πŸ‘Š WHY Koshi Nage succeeded in Part 3 β€” the mechanical truth
πŸ‘Š HOW a skilled attacker can neutralize that escape instantly
πŸ‘Š WHY posture and structure are the hidden foundation of every technique
πŸ‘Š Why studying the ATTACK is just as important as studying the defense
πŸ‘Š The mistake most martial artists make when they think a technique is "reliable"

πŸ“Œ This is Part 4 of the Subway Choke Attack Defense Series.
πŸ”œ Part 5 shows the IMPROVED triangle choke that eliminates the escape.
Then we show you the defense that beats THAT.

What would you actually do if someone grabbed you in a choke hold
on a crowded subway car?

Most people would panic.
Most people would pull away.
And most people would lose.

Here's what Sensei Nir wants you to know:

Strength isn't the answer. ❌
Bigger isn't the advantage. ❌
And fighting harder isn't the strategy. ❌

POSITION is. βœ…

In Part 3 of our Triangle Choke Defense series,
Sensei Nir demonstrates Koshi Nage β€” a classical hip throw
rooted in traditional Japanese martial arts β€” and breaks down
exactly why getting LOWER than your attacker gives you the leverage
to reverse a real-world choke attack in seconds.

Here's what this video covers:

πŸ‘Š Why your HIP POSITION is the most critical factor in a choke defense
πŸ‘Š How controlling the centerline disrupts your attacker's entire balance
πŸ‘Š The principle that makes size and strength almost irrelevant
πŸ‘Š How Koshi Nage can throw a bigger, stronger attacker using their own weight
πŸ‘Š Why leverage beats strength β€” and how to use it

This isn't theory.
This is a technique tested across decades of traditional martial arts
β€” now applied to the places you actually need it:
the subway, the parking lot, the elevator.

πŸ“Œ This is Part 3 of 4.
Part 4 is coming β€” and it takes this even further.
Make sure you're following us so you don't miss it.

Part 1 reached over 85,000 people. And the most
common question in the comments was: "What do I
actually DO when it happens?"

Part 2 is the answer.

But first β€” something most people don't realize:

The triangle choke that knocked that man
unconscious in the subway?

It doesn't only happen from behind.

It can be applied from the front. While you're
facing your attacker. While you think you have
a chance to react.

And the instinct almost everyone has in that
moment is the wrong one.

They try to fight it with strength.

Which is exactly what makes it worse.

In Part 2, Scott demonstrates the front
application of this choke β€” not to scare you,
but because you cannot defend against something
you don't understand.

You'll see:
βœ… How the choke is applied from the front
βœ… Why positioning matters more than power
βœ… Why structure always beats strength
βœ… How two students achieve effortless control
without forcing anything

This isn't sport. This is real-world education
built around how attacks actually happen.

Watch it. Then share it β€” with your daughter,
your sister, your friend, the woman in your
life who thinks "it won't happen to me."

Meet Megan.

She's not a professional fighter. She's not an athlete. She's a mom and a student β€” someone you probably know, or someone you ARE.

Watch what she does in this video when someone grabs her from behind.

It's smooth. It's controlled. And it has absolutely nothing to do with how strong she is.

Here's the truth most women don't realize until they start training: self-defense was never really about strength. It's about awareness, positioning, leverage, and β€” more than anything β€” confidence.

When women start at Empower Her, almost everyone walks in worried about the same thing: "I'm not strong enough for this." "I'm not athletic." "I'll never be able to do that."

And then they watch someone like Megan move through an attack with total control β€” and they realize the truth: the right knowledge beats raw strength, every single time.

That's not a tagline. That's what we watched happen, over and over, in this program.

I want you to watch something.

Not because it's shocking β€” but because it's REAL.

A man is standing at a subway. He's not paying attention to what's behind him. Within seconds, he's unconscious. His belongings are gone. He never saw it coming.

This is Part 1 of a new series where we break down exactly what happened, HOW the choke works, and β€” more importantly β€” how to stop it from working on you.

Because here's the truth most self-defense content won't say out loud:

πŸ‘‰ You cannot defend against something you don't understand.
πŸ‘‰ Most "self-defense training" is built around attacks that don't happen the way they're taught.
πŸ‘‰ Awareness is the first layer of defense β€” but it's not the only one.

This series covers everything:
βœ… How the triangle choke is actually applied
βœ… Real-world variations attackers use
βœ… Practical defenses and counters
βœ… Situational awareness before contact ever happens

Watch Part 1. Then share it with someone β€” a daughter, a sister, a friend β€” who deserves to know this.

Most people react too late.

This bonus lesson is about stopping the attack before the choke ever happens.

Awareness, early action, hand control, and the ability to disengage before the attacker establishes control, that is the advantage.

The best defense is not needing one.

Most people freeze when someone traps them against a wall.

This is how you break control fast.

Attack the face, break the structure, and turn defense into control.
