Heading into fall, we are celebrating OIDA’s 10 Year Anniversary!! 🥳 New students are welcome try an Irish dance class for FREE in Portland starting this September! ☘️ We have free trial class options for kids ages 4-5, ages 6-7, and ages 8-11 ⭐️

Congratulations to Maren as she heads into her Senior Year!! 🎓 Maren has been Irish dancing for over 10 years and started taking lessons from us back before we had even opened Oregon Irish Dance Academy! She works so hard in every class with such a positive mindset, and she is an absolutely fantastic Irish dancer! 👏 In addition, Maren is one of the very first dancers in OIDA’s history to have worked her way up to Advanced Level 6!! 🥳 On top of achieving this highly advanced level, Maren was on OIDA’s Team for nearly a decade. She got to perform at various local events including dancing on the news, at The Gothard Sisters Concerts, with visiting bands from Ireland, and even at a Portland Trail Blazers game! She also did an excellent job assisting in some of our classes & camps along the way! 🌈 We are so proud of the dancer she has become, and also so proud of the person, friend, and positive influence that she is! 💚 We absolutely love all these memories from over the years, and we are so excited for Maren on her upcoming Senior Year! ⭐️

Spots are available in next week’s Intensive (July 21-22-23) ⭐️ Intensive is 3 days, Tues-Wed-Thur, from 10-2 each day. OIDA Advanced level & Pre-Advanced level students are eligible to enroll in Intensives - see email for all info and to enroll now ☘️

This lucky OIDA dancer got to go to Ireland recently and had the best time seeing Riverdance live at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin! 🇮🇪 Thank you to these very kind dancers in the cast for giving her some autographs and pictures after the show! 📸 What an awesome experience 🥳

Congrats to this Valedictorian!! 🎓 Hazel has been Irish dancing for nearly 12 years and started lessons with us when she was just 6 years old - that’s before we had even opened OIDA! We are so proud of not just the dancer she is, but the person and friend that she is! 💚 She is such a hard worker and wonderful dancer, and she has worked her way up the levels to Advanced Level 6 - that is currently the furthest any student has made it through OIDA’s program!! 👏 In addition to reaching this highly advanced level, Hazel was on the Performance Team for a decade, performing at various events including The Gothard Sisters Concerts, local TV & news stations, and even a Portland Trail Blazers game! She also did a fantastic job assisting in some of our classes & camps! ☘️ We love all these memories from over the years, and we are so excited for Hazel and her upcoming adventures! 🥳
