SheRock 4x4 Relay was just too good, we had to share more.

From our elementary aged runners to our field of elites, we want to say a big "thank you" to everyone who made this possible both behind the scenes and at the event (and of course our runners out there on the track!) For a sport that's widely coined an "individual sport," it's important to remember the power of a group of people coming together with the same mission - it takes a team to make something like this inaugural SheRock 4x4 Relay come to life.

Thank you and for teaming up with Shamrock to make this a reality for our girls.

We know girls drop out of sports at a much higher rate than boys. So how do we help change that? Show them what’s possible.

Elementary → Middle School → High School → Elite Woman. See her. Be her. Become her.

We had an idea for our Shamrock girls running initiative, SheRock, to show the journey of the girl athlete and our amazing community partners helped bring it to life. Runners came from and of course, and the Stumptown Twighlight event brought it to life. This is what happens when the Portland running community comes together. 💚

Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota is a front-row seat to everything that makes the Pacific Northwest iconic: historic bridges, waterfront views, evergreen trees, and a skyline that feels unmistakably PDX.

We’re keeping the full 2027 course under wraps for a little longer, but we couldn’t resist giving you a sneak peek of a few of the landmarks you’ll be running through, past, and around on in March.

The SheRock 4x4 is a relay event celebrating the journey of girls and women in running, taking place at the Stumptown Twilight Track Event on August 15 at Lewis & Clark College Track.

Together with , , , and , we’re bringing together girls from that have been supported by these organizations to celebrate the journey of female athletes and the power of community. 🏃‍♀️✨

Each team includes four runners, each running 400m: an elementary school girl, a middle school girl, a high school girl, and an elite or super female athlete. As the baton is passed from runner to runner, it represents the progression of a girl athlete and the opportunities that exist at every stage.
Come cheer on all the events, watch some epic racing, and celebrate the incredible athletes in our running community!

We’re almost full for the actual relay, but we still have a couple spots left for middle school and high school runners. If you have a daughter who wants to join, grab a spot while you can!
