Helpful web-based tool for determining room modes and optimal room sizes. Don't be discouraged if your room isn't in the Bolt-area. This room mode info can give you helpful clues about what kind of room treatment you need and how your EQ decisions are being influenced by your room. There are other Excel tools available but this one is much easier to read and responds quickly to adjustments in the dimensions.

New Neve Preamp emulation from Universal Audio. Lightweight DSP footprint allows it to be used on many buses or even all channels! I'm experimenting with replacing some/all instances of Slate's VCC on some of my ITB/Hybrid templates. Also nice for lending weight to synths. It's subtle at modest settings, but the mix effects are cumulative. Note that it goes from polite to fairly overdriven relatively quickly, so be careful with gain structure.
