What’s a moment of true BElonging in your life?
A few summers ago, a friend and I laughed so hard we both peed our pants. Right there, no shame, no scrambling to cover it up. Just two humans, simply BEing, completely undone by joy.
Looking back, I understand what that moment actually was: BElonging in its purest form.
Not “fitting in.” Not performing a version of yourself you think others will accept. Just the felt sense of being safe, seen, and loved exactly as you are.
My new Substack essay “BElonging” is up, the first in a monthly series exploring what I call the Universal Imperatives, the non-negotiable needs of the human soul.
This is where it all starts: BElonging to yourself first.
