Softball players working hard in the weight room!

6-12th graders...Come join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:40-4:40. Friday early release days are from 1:30-2:30. Friday full days from 3:40-4:40. I'm not in there all the time (Coach Mayne and Coach Nachreiner are), but I can come to help get you going in your first day. Shoot me a message!

WARRIOR OPEN LIFT IS OFF AND RUNNING!

All middle school and high school non-fall athletes are welcome to attend.

Open Lift sessions are held Tuesdays & Thursdays with a NEW start time of 3:40–4:40 PM and Fridays from 1:30-2:30 PM on early release days and 3:40-4:40 PM on full Fridays.

We encourage students to head to the Market right after school, grab a snack, and then make their way up to the weight room ready to get to work!

Coach Wampler will be working the weight room this Tuesday, September 8th.

Please fill out this form if your player would like to tryout for either the 12u or 14u Pride Tournament team for next year's season. The age determination is as of August 31st of this year (the end of this month). Each team will play in 4-6 tournaments. An additional cost is involved which is based on tournament registration costs. Pride teams MAY have practices separate from the rec teams.

Tryouts will be on Wednesday, August 12th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Please arrive early so players can warm up ahead of time. 14u will be on the Varsity field. 12u will be on the JV field.

🥎 Thank You for an Incredible 2026 Portage Youth Softball Tournament! 🥎

What an amazing weekend of softball! Thank you to every player, coach, volunteer, sponsor, family, and fan who helped make the 2026 Portage Youth Softball Tournament a tremendous success. We appreciate all of the teams that traveled to Portage and showcased outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament.

Congratulations Portage Pride 10U Team!

Portage 10U Pride Wins Gold at Rays Beaver Classic

It was a tremendous weekend for the Portage 10U Pride, whose balanced offense, solid pitching, and stingy defense led them to the gold medal at the Rays Beaver Classic.

Portage finished Saturday’s pool play with a 2-1 record, scoring 16 runs while allowing just seven in three games. The strong showing earned the Pride a spot in Sunday’s championship bracket.

The Pride’s defense was outstanding during bracket play, surrendering only one run in two games. Portage opened Sunday with a 2-0 victory over the Sauk Prairie Eagles before advancing to the championship game against the Poynette Chaos.

In the title game, Portage continued its strong play, defeating Poynette 4-1 to bring home the tournament championship.
