Had to hunt hard for ‘em today.
Hit six spots in 4-hours. Marked fish most of the trip. They just weren’t as active as normal.
Still had a good time with a great family.

Fish-Camp ain’t only bout fishin’.
Sometimes, it’s about hanging a Dutch Oven on a hook 🪝 over a campfire 🔥, and slow cookin’ all day long. 😊

20+mph winds in the Sandusky Bay limited my location choices today.
Slow day to say the least.
We’ll get ‘em next time.

20-pounder today! 😊
Had to work for ‘em today.
1st spot- was taken over by White Perch. Kept stealing our baits, not letting them alone long enough for Catfish.
2nd spot- went away from the bridges, and caught two or three in half hour or so.
3rd spot- Jackpot! Hit a deep water spot and had a steady bite. With a lot of heavyweights in the mix.

At the risk of repeating myself?
Not all trips are like this…. 113-Catfish caught in 4-hours.
An incredible amount of action throughout the trip. Good current through-n-through the entire time. No downtime. Dropped anchor one time. Never moved. Fish catch rate of 1-fish per 2.1-minutes for 4-hours!!! 😊 They through back the big ones. 👍
Two rods bent / three rods bent / four rods bent / just epic.
