How do you care for your "inner Self"?

Think about your closest friends. How did those relationships form?
Chances are that it wasn't through polite conversation at a party. It was through shared experience. Working on something together. Going through something hard together. Showing up for each other over time.
Flourish groups accelerate that process.

What I’ve learned after decades of working with women?
We’re experiencing an epidemic of surface-level conversation.
We’ve professionalized our social lives, packed our calendars with lunches and events and memberships, but we’re starving for something deeper.
And here’s the painful truth: most of us don’t even know how to have a real conversation anymore.
We’ve forgotten how to ask meaningful questions. We’re afraid of being ‘too much’ or ‘too heavy.’ We default to safe topics because vulnerability feels risky.
But underneath our performance? There’s a woman who wants to be truly seen. Who has questions she’s been sitting with alone. Who’s navigating this stage of life, post-career, post-raising-kids, post-whatever-defined-her-before?
And we’re wondering, ‘Who am I now? What’s next? Does anyone else feel this way?
That’s why I designed Flourish. For women who are tired of the “same-old, same-old” and want to stretch into learning more about themselves and others.
Who are we really?
What gives our life meaning?
How do we connect with another person in a way we feel inside is truly possible?
I’ll leave you with a Flourish (from Relationships & Social topic) question to ponder…
“Are you surrounding yourself with people who challenge you to grow, or people who let you stay comfortable?”
I’d love to hear your answer. Thanks for being here.

Five months ago, I started a Flourish discussion group with a few women and a deck of conversation cards.
We met in a stuffy clubhouse. Sat around a conference table. Everyone was polite. Guarded. It felt like a board meeting, not a gathering of souls.
So we moved to members' living rooms. And everything changed.
Now we have a core group who won't miss a meeting.
Women referring friends.
Real conversations are happening, the kind where someone shares something hard, and everyone else exhales because they feel it too.
This was the reason I designed Flourish Conversation Cards, and why I'm starting Flourish groups.
Do you want to start one too?

Is it important to you to reflect on any gap between who you are in person vs who you are online? I learned a lot about myself answering this week's Flourish Conversation Card question.
It can be tough to be vulnerable and real online.
I'm private and find it challenging to share personal details.
Being on social media is important for my business.
So when my mind tells me I'm not enough, and I worry about judgment...
I see it as another opportunity to grow.
What version of yourself do you present online versus who you are offline?
I'd love to hear your answer.
Let's keep growing together!💜
