Went to Bedrock Raceway last night for the Steve Smith Memorial race ran the Jr2 and Jr Pro. We started off unsure of what tires to run to gear changes. But come feature time G1 really showed up with speed and confidence by the second feature we knew tires were not gonna hold up……so I told him u will have to figure out how to drive the kart with the kart handling super loose. In the second feature he made his was up to second for a hot minute but he drifted up a little bit on the last lap leaving the door open and a couple karts got by. But to say we didn’t leave it all on the track would be an understatement.

Race weekend recap….went to K3 for the first time in a couple years but Mainly for the memorial race to show our support for the Frye family. We knew it would be very tough to be able to compete with a lot of those guys, but mainly just make laps and try to stay with them was the goal honestly. I fought with the gearing it seem like all day tried some things but the track just seemed to change so much in between our turn up and with the damp weather at night I miss read it. I’m not even sure of where we qualified honestly I just know it was outside what they were taking in both the pro and the Frye memorial.
-Consi 1 started 2nd and finished 2nd made which put us in the Pro feature
-Consi 2 started 3rd and held it for most of the race until a cause come out and wasnt able to hold off the kart behind us got 4th didn’t make the Frye memorial bummer but it is what it is.
Pro Feature started p20 and Greysyn just made laps think he was just playing it safe and stayed in the clear.

Friday night race recap was fun until it wasn’t.
Heat 1 started p1 was leading with good speed until driver error and spun himself out🙈🙈. Started last and was behind a couple karts that were racing hard and one spun out and Greysyn had no were to go and smashed into the other kart. He hit his elbow off the clutch guard and after having him check out by the ambulance staff he was fine just sore. He wasn’t able to continue so we made a substitute and asked Rydell to race for us. She agreed to finish the night out for us and want to thank her for helping she finished 2nd in the feature!!
