In Wildcraft & Homesteading, whether we’re weaving a basket, building a barn, working with our hands or learning the rhythms of the farm, students explore old-fashioned skills and farmstead traditions through real, hands-on experiences.

It’s creativity, problem-solving and a little bit of grit all wrapped up in a morning at Hydaway. 🤎

Enjoying our Labor Day on the farm! 🥰 Today we played an ice breaker game, learned about all of the things animals need to to stay healthy and how to treat them properly. We made journals to track data and even learned how to make a water filter!

A little fresh air, a little movement and a whole lot of calm. 🌿🧘‍♀️ 1st Friday Yoga on the Farm is happening tomorrow at Hydaway! Join certified yoga instructor Erin Tyson from 11 AM–12 PM for a relaxing, all-levels practice surrounded by the peaceful sights and sounds of the farm.
