Going into Project Bublik, we knew the racket had to feel like Alex before anything else. He's played a blacked out frame for years, so we went back and forth on switching it up. The more we talked, the more we agreed black is what makes it feel like Bublik, even while we do something totally new with it.

Gold was the fun part. We don't use it anywhere else in our lineup, so the second you see gold, you know whose it is. That was the point, we wanted his racket to stand out the same way he does.

Then there's the line inside the throat, "sometimes I hit the yellow ball." If you follow Alex on Instagram you've seen it as his bio for years, so writing it on the racket felt more personal than a font.

The sleek design is intentional. It's a look into where the final racket is headed, and what it means to develop a frame curated for a pro.
