Here’s a glimpse into a speed session with Kacee. She’s currently prepping for the 1st Phorm Monster Games in Kansas. One of the fitness tests included in the competition is the 40-yard dash, so today we focused on improving her running mechanics, driving through the first three steps, and dialing in her starting position.

When you’re already strong and well-conditioned, small technical improvements can make a big difference. Better mechanics mean faster acceleration, more efficient movement, and free speed without getting any stronger.

2 weeks back into this sprinting journey and this week already felt noticeably better 🔥

Last week was all about shaking the rust off and getting comfortable producing force again. This week, things started feeling a little more natural. I felt more fluid with my movement, more relaxed, and less timid about opening it up as the workout progressed.

I was able to add a little more sprint volume while also spending time dialing in mechanics and positions. Nothing crazy, just focusing on the little details that make a big difference over time. Rhythm, posture, projection, and learning how to move efficiently again.

One thing I love about sprinting is that it exposes everything. You can’t fake relaxation, coordination, or force production at higher speeds. It demands patience and respect for the process.

We’re still keeping things controlled and building gradually, but it feels good reconnecting with this side of training again. Small improvements every week 📈

Bodywork is essential for everyone ⚡️

Pain isn’t always coming from where you feel it. That’s why at we assess movement, restrictions, and imbalances instead of just chasing symptoms.

In this case, knee pain was connected to the glutes and medial calves. Through bodywork and movement assessment we were able to help relieve tension, improve movement, and get feeling better 🫡
