🚧 Roy L. Rogers Park Waterfront Improvements

The City of Pompano Beach is making improvements to the Roy L. Rogers Park waterfront, including a new seawall cap, promenade upgrades, and replacement of the public docks to improve safety, resiliency, and public access.

Construction will take place in phases and will require temporary access changes:

Phase 1 | Week of August 10, 2026
β€’ Construction staging begins
β€’ Fishing area and north promenade closed
β€’ Water Taxi and Wahoo Bay remain accessible from the landside

Phase 2 | Expected September 2026
β€’ Landside pedestrian access to the finger pier, Wahoo Bay promenade, and north fishing promenade closed
β€’ Water Taxi service may be suspended or relocated
β€’ Wahoo Bay remains accessible from the waterside via the finger pier

Phase 3 | Expected late September/early October 2026
β€’ No pedestrian access within the construction area
β€’ Finger pier removed
β€’ Pier access to the Water Taxi and Wahoo Bay unavailable through early January 2027

Final completion is expected in January 2027. Dates are subject to change due to weather, permitting, or unforeseen construction conditions.
