REMINDER ABOUT BREAKING THE 23-RULE
All formats, with the exception of Masters, have a Team Skill Level Limit. Each format’s Team Skill Level Limit is indicated in the bullet points below. A team playing less than a full match must show that it would not have exceeded the Team Skill Level Limit, if all the matches had been played. If the Team Skill Level Limit is broken, the offending team receives zero points for the entire team match. The non-offending team would receive:

8-Ball Open (23-Rule) – All points they won up to the point the violation occurred, plus two points for the match in which the 23-Rule was broken and any subsequent individual matches.

9-Ball Open (23-Rule) – All points they won up to the point the violation occurred, plus 15 points for the match in which the 23-Rule was broken and any subsequent individual matches.

The moment the system flags you for breaking 23, you lose all earned points for the evening (as the rule above states) and unfortunately, there isnt anything we can do to change it.

***It is important to keep this in mind when replaying shooters. Teams playing less than a full match must show that it would not have exceeded the Team Skill Level Limit, if all the matches had been played. In other words, whether you replay or forfeit that match, you STILL have to show that if the LOWEST REMAINING NON-PLAYED player on your roster showed up, you could still make 23. For example, in order to REPLAY your 3, you would have to have another 3 (or lower) on the roster.

ANOTHER REMINDER-TEAMS ONLY GET 3 PLAYBACKS A SESSION, NO MORE THAN ONE A NIGHT AND NONE CAN BE USED IN THE FINAL 4 WEEKS OF THE SESSION. If a team utilizes a playback, there will be an * behind thei rteam name.

Week 2 of Fall session just began and already, teams are starting to lose their bonus points for non-payment...
We will no longer be able to be lenient in regards to the late payment of weekly dues. Teams who have their host locations send in dues, please be sure they are sending them in on time or you will lose your bonus points, and once they are lost, you cannot get them back (and they cost you the “perfect paperwork” bonus at the end of the session).
We have spent far too many hours/days chasing captains for late payments. We have ALWAYS tried to work with teams because we know “crap happens” but our kindness is being taken advantage of. The amount of times that we hear that “my card was compromised” or “my paypal/venmo was shut down” is crazy…there are 8 people on most teams and anyone can submit payments PLUS you are welcome to mail in a check, cash or money order.
Teammates, check to see if you have all your points! If you lose bonus points, 99.9% of the time it is due to late or missing payments so be sure to question your captains if points go missing.
Captains, if you have a player or players who aren’t paying you, DO NOT LET THEM PLAY! You should also email us to let us know the situation. In addition, players who have competed and have NOT yet paid their yearly dues will lose all points earned. It is not a surprise that yearly dues must be paid the first week a player plays AND you have been receiving reminders from APA National and our office about dues since OCTOBER!
Our bylaws state that any team that loses 3 bonus points due to late/missing payments, must choose a new captain. Should captains be repeat offenders, we WILL ask the team to choose a new captain. In addition, our bylaws state that we have the right to drop a team from the league for lack of payment…please do not make us exercise this right.
To repeat the rule, teams must pay their weekly dues the day following play. In the case of a captain with multiple teams, they are permitted to send in one payment, the day following their final day of play for the week. For example, if “Bobby Sue” is the captain of a Sunday 9 ball team and a Wednesday 8 ball team, she may send in her $100, for both teams, no later than Thursday in order to retain her bonus points for both teams. Teams are automatically awarded bonus points upon scoring of the match, we DEDUCT them if payment is not received on time.
We are sorry that we need to take such a heard stance, but it is not fair to all of the teams who DO pay on time!
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE WORK "POOL" IN ANY COMMENTS WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR PAYMENTS VIA VENMO OR PAYPAL.
Reminder that in order to receive your weekly bonus points, you must pay weekly dues NO LATER than the day following play. If you choose to mail in payments, it must be postmarked the day following play. If you are e-paying with Venmo or PayPal, it must be sent the day following play, or in the case of a captain with multiple teams, the day following the last night of play in the week.
We accept weekly and player dues payments via PayPal, Venmo, checks, cash or money orders. Here are our addresses...

DUE TO TEAMS ABUSING AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF RESCHEDULING, we will be strictly enforcing the rules surrounding rescheduling matches. Teams who do not email us within one week of the original scheduled date of play with a new date WILL NOT RECEIVE THEIR BONUS POINTS. This will go for both teams, regardless of the situation.
Most teams and captains have no issues when it comes to rescheduling and following the rules and to all of you, we thank you!
In addition, we will be closely monitoring the teams requesting to reschedule matches as there are some of you (you know who you are) who seem to be "overusing" the reschedule option.

Congratulations to your Summer 2026 9 Ball Qualifiers. These teams have punched their ticket to compete in WQs in June!
